A nostalgia-infused deli paradise will open in Victoria this week.
Superflux {Cabana} is a 55-seat dining room upstairs on 804 Broughton Street harkening to a Hunter S. Thompson-inspired Las Vegas.
Owned by Vancouver-based brewery Superflux, the menu will have a stacked line of ten of Superflux’s own beers, a selection of rotating guest taps and select wine and cocktails. You can even grab a four-pack to go!
The restaurant will open this weekend between 4 p.m. until midnight on Friday and Saturday, and 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday.
There’s no reason to fear and loathe this place, despite the Edda Creative Ltd. and Studio Roslyn teams creating a space they said is inspired by a Las Vegas Pool Bar Trip with Hunter S. Thompson.
In spring, Superflux {Cabana} will open a rooftop patio with an additional 60 seats.
Superflux {Cabana} does not take reservations, nor do takeout food (yet). Their menu has both veggie and vegan options but not much for the gluten-free people.
