Christmas was in the air.. Or the streets of Victoria? 

On Saturday, the 23rd annual IEOA Truck Light Convoy and Food Drive made its way through Victoria, lighting up the city and spreading holiday cheer and excitement. 

The highly anticipated holiday convoy began at Ogden Point before weaving throughout Greater Victoria and made its way out to the West Shore. All along the route, locals bundled up to catch the convoy as it passed. 

The parade  featured 80 commercial trucks from the Island Equipment Owners Association (IEOA), all decked out in thousands of sparkling Christmas lights. 

Every year, the IEOA raises thousands of dollars worth of donations in both cash and food. Over the past 20 years, the organization has collected over 160,000 lbs of food for those in need.
