Every year, Be a Local Tourist partners with Victoria businesses who offer one of their products or services at a discounted rate, or for free!
The amazing deals are all offered for a week long event called Be a Local Tourist week, where locals use the event wristbands they have purchased to gain access to ALL the amazing deals.
Be a Local Tourist 2022 is back from March 7th to 13th, with fifteen deals at your favourite local businesses, freebies to try something new and plenty of savings.
After the past twenty months, there is no better time to support local.
From 50% of Whale and Wildlife watching tours, discounts on workout classes and free wine flights, there is something for everyone!

And they’re just getting started – businesses can still register to be a part of the event, which means even more deals for you!
This year, Be a Local Tourist is introducing Youth and Senior Ticket pricing and, and like every year, they’re also giving back to the community.
$1 from every wristband purchase will go to the Victoria Hospitals Foundation.
This year, Be a Local Tourist is also introducing ‘pay it forward’ – just another way for businesses and individuals to give back.
Pay it forward means businesses can pay the signup fees forward so that a business in need can participate in the event. Extra tickets purchased by individuals will be donated to the Cridge Centre for families.
