The body of a missing 54-year-old Shawnigan Lake man has been found.
Christopher Janak was reported missing on the morning of Tuesday, December 7th and his body was found on December 9th.
In the initial media release, RCMP had stated they were very concerned for Janak’s health and well-being. Family and friends said it was out of character for him to be out of contact for so long.
Although a full determination has yet to be made, Shawnigan Lake RCMP said they do not believe that criminality was involved in the man’s sudden death.
No other details were released.
