VicPD are seeking witnesses after Forests Minister Katrine Conroy was knocked to the ground near the BC Legislature earlier this week.
The incident occurred between 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 7th.
According to Minister Conroy, she was walking home when an unknown person knocked her down, causing her to suffer minor injuries including cuts, bruises and possible fractures to her hands.
VicPD were notified of the incident on Wednesday and a report was filed. No other details have been released.
“A good Samaritan may have helped the Minister during or after the incident. We are asking to speak with that person,” said VicPD.
In a Twitter post, Premier John Horgan said he is very upset Conroy was “knocked to the ground and hurt last night walking home from the Legislature.”
