Here’s when and where you can spot the IEOA Truck Light Convoy this Saturday

The annual IEOA Truck Light Convoy and Food Drive is back, and will be making its way through Victoria this Saturday!

The highly anticipated holiday convoy will begin at Ogden Point at approximately 5:45 before weaving throughout Greater Victoria and out to the West Shore.

The convoy features dozens of commercial trucks from the Island Equipment Owners Association (IEOA), all decked out in thousands of sparkling Christmas lights. 

The IEOA also raises thousands of dollars worth of donations in both cash and food. Over the past 20 years, the organization has collected over 160,000 lbs of food for those in need. 

Here’s when and where you can see the IEOA Truck Light Convoy and Food Drive with approximate times below: 

5:45 p.m.: Ogden Point

6:30 p.m.: Oak Bay Avenue

7:00 p.m.: Yates Street at Blanshard Street

7:30 p.m.: Burnside Road West

8:00 p.m.: Goldstream Avenue and Veterans Memorial Parkway

8:30 p.m.: Western Speedway

Non-perishable food donations will be collected along the route, to help support local food banks such as the Mustard Seed, Goldstream Food Bank and Saanich Peninsula Lions Food Bank.

“The Island Equipment Owners Association and our Truck Light Convoy participants are eagerly anticipating this year’s event return and the joy of rolling the convoy through town sharing our bright lights and festive sounds with our local community,” said Wendy Watt, Manager of the IEOA,

“We are excited to share the holiday spirit with our spectators and spread a message of hope to the local food banks with our donations.”

  • Where: Starts at the Breakwater District at Ogden Point and ends at Westshore Motor Sports
  • When: 5:45 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Saturday, December 4th
