The holidays are about to get a little more merry, and a lot more bright!
The Lights of Wonder holiday celebration is returning to the downtown core next week on December 16th, bringing back the twinkling display for a second time.
The $500,000 light installation – purchased by the DVBA – launched in 2019 and brought over 75,000 people to Victoria’s epicentre.
After missing a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the festive event returns to decorate downtown Victoria in an abundance of sparkling lights.
From December 16th until December 31st, the free, accessible, and all-ages outdoor light display will be held once again in Centennial Square.
And what pairs with a stunning stroll through the spectacular light display? Some local holiday shopping, of course!
