The holidays have officially kicked off at Uptown!

The Christmas Tree is up and across the boulevard, twinkly lights illuminate your path and igloos keep you warm as you indulge in your festive drinks.

It’s a winter wonderland, but that’s not all Uptown has in store this season.

If you’ve visited lately, you will have noticed another festive addition in progress.

The Rink at Uptown is ready to invite eager skaters in!

Last week, figure skater and TikTok sensation Elladj Baldé was the first to grace the ice and kick off Uptown’s holiday celebrations.

Starting tomorrow, guests will be able to skate for $5 per person and $2 skate rentals.

Guests can book their spot online for groups up to 6 people.

Each time slot is 40 minutes in length, giving you plenty of time to show off your best moves.

Waivers are required in order to participate, so guests are asked to arrive five minutes prior to check-in to sign in and get laced up!

There will be a limited supply of helmets and skating walkers for children, so this is important to keep in mind when planning your visit.

Face masks are mandatory until entry to The Rink, however, once you begin skating you may remove it.

The festive fun is also for a good cause! 50% of proceeds from The Rink will be donated to 1UP Victoria Single Parent Resource Centre, in support of their Christmas Hamper Program.

Be sure to book now, as times will go fast!
