West Shore RCMP seek suspect accused of multiple indecent exposures this week

West Shore RCMP are seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect who exposed himself to two separate women in Langford this week.

At approximately 6:45 a.m. on January 27th, a woman contacted police after a male exposed himself to her while she was waiting for the bus in the 2600 block of Sooke Road in Langford.

The suspect fled toward the Galloping Goose trail.

Approximately five minutes later, RCMP received another, similar report of a man exposing himself to a woman walking on Luxton Road near Marwood Avenue.

The suspect is described as Caucasian, late 20’s to early 30’s with a slim build and shoulder length blonde hair.

At the time of both incidents, the suspect was allegedly wearing a black jacket and a light bathrobe underneath it.

“The initial challenge investigators faced was that these incidents were reported later in the morning which hindered our ability to attend the area right away to locate the suspect,” stated Cpl. Alex Bérubé, spokesperson for the West Shore RCMP.

“We need to identify this suspect as soon as possible to prevent any further escalation in his deviant behaviour.”

Anyone who may have been travelling in the areas around this time is asked to review personal dash camera videos which may have captured the suspect to assist with the investigation.

Officers are also asking anyone else who may have been a victim or witness to a similar situation in the area to report it to West Shore RCMP at 250 474 2264.
