Although the weather forecast predicts an overcast and possibly rainy weekend, there are still plenty of fun things we can do to keep us entertained.

This weekend, catch a Royals game, stock up on delicious apples and meet up with some friends for music bingo!

Here are 7 things to do in and around Victoria this weekend, February 5th-6th:

Watch a Victoria Royals game

This weekend, the Victoria Royals face off against the Kamloops Blazers on Saturday and Sunday.

  • When: Saturday, February 5th; puck drops at 7:05 p.m., Sunday, February 6th; puck drops at 4:05 p.m.

Buy some delicious apples

This weekend, Red Door Landscaping is hosting a pop-up fruit stand in Victoria!

Stop by for some delicious, fresh apples delivered by Sun-Oka Fruit Farms, voted best apples in Canada for eight consecutive years.

  • When: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday
  • Where: 630 Pembroke Street, Red Door Landscaping
  • Prices: Honeycrisp apples are $20 for a 1lb box. Ambrosia apples will be sold at $15 for a 10lb box.

Enjoy Dine Around Victoria 2022

It’s the last weekend for Dine Around!

Until February 6th, locals can enjoy Dine Around and Stay in Town Victoria by dining at participating restaurants. This year, 46 restaurants have created three course meal experiences, varying from $20 to $60 a person.

Victoria Film Festival 

The Victoria Film Festival is back from February 4th to the 13th at multiple locations around Victoria. The event will screen more than 100 films over 10 days.

Check out the Lego Exhibit at the Sidney Museum

The Lego Exhibition is on now until March 31st! This annual favourite will showcase classic sets as well as new show stoppers with themes ranging from fairy tale castles to 1960s pop culture icons.

Participate in a Silent Disco

This weekend, enjoy a physically distanced musical event at Willlow’s Beach. 

The “Bob Marley Birthday Tribute: Reggae on the Beach” event is a collaboration of Vancouver Island Reggae & Silent DJ Victoria.

It is recommended to bring lots of water, a mug for hot tea, warm hat, gloves, and layers that you can add and remove. Also bring a hood if rain is in the forecast. 

The event supplies the headset and waterproof headset covers.

  • Where: South end of Willows Beach, off 800 Bowker Ave.
  • When: 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday February 6th
