After a pair of thieves was caught in the act, Saanich Police are putting out a call for helping in identifying them.

Last month, police received a report that $5,000 worth of tools were stolen from a construction site in the 5100-block of Cordova Bay Road sometime between January 22nd and 24th.

“We’re hoping someone will recognize the suspects and/or the dog photographed with them,” Cst. Markus Anastasiades told Victoria Buzz.

Greater Victora Crime Stoppers also shared a post to Facebook, asking those with details about the incident to come forward.

“Luckily for us, you were caught on security camera, and now we get to share your photos with our amazing followers, who will recognize you and tell us your name,” said Crime Stoppers, addressing the suspects.

“We will get you and your little dog too! Well not your dog, because we like dogs.”

Anyone with information is urged to call Saanich Police at (250) 475-4321. Tipsters wanting to file an anonymous report can call Crime Stoppers 1 (800) 222-8477 or submit a tip online here.
