North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing mom and her 3-month old son.

According to police, Jacqueline Nelson and her 3-month-old son, Kane Nelson have not been heard from since January 24th.

The mother and son were last seen by family on January 4th.

Family members said they received electronic communication but it has not been confirmed that it was directly from Jacqueline.

Police have reason to believe that Jacqueline may have been in Manitoba around January 27th. This has yet to be confirmed and it is not known if she is still there.

Jacqueline is described as a 38-year-old Caucasian woman, standing 5’3” tall and weighing about 115 pound. She has blue eyes and red hair.

Anyone with information about Jacqueline and Kane, or where they might be, contact the North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP at (250) 748-5522.
