Step aside Breyer’s, there’s a new ice cream in town.

Tim Hortons announced it is stepping in to the ice cream game with flavours inspired by popular treats, from Iced Capps to Timbits and everything in between.

The frozen dessert will come in five flavours inspired by some of the brand’s most popular snacks and beverages: birthday cake timbits, apple fritter, double chocolate donut (which will feature actual chunks of donut), salted caramel iced capp and fruit explosion.

The coffee chain said it has partnered up with ice cream producer Shaw’s and uses 100% Canadian dairy to create its newest lineup of frozen desserts.

Tim Hortons Ice Cream will be available in the coming weeks at grocery stores across Canada including at Co-op, Real Canadian Super Store, Walmart and independent grocery stores.

“Canadians are going to love Tim Hortons Ice Cream and how we’ve brought our unique, only-at-Tims tastes to a new dimension. These new ice cream pints are bursting with inclusions like caramel, apple and chocolate donut pieces,” said Sourabh Malik, Vice President of CPG at Tim Hortons.

Along with that exciting news, be prepared to spend a little more at your local Timmies because prices are expected to increase this year due to continued elevated costs and inflation.
