Events are back and, this weekend, they are in full swing!

This weekend, rally for Ukraine, check out an improv show and attend the Victoria Women’s Expo and Modern Wedding Show.

If you’ve been craving some Vitamin D, then you’re in luck as the latest weather forecast is showing nothing but sunshine this weekend.

Check out Garden City Comedy’s ‘Jump Up and Jam’

On Friday, get ready to be put on the spot with Garden City Comedy’s Jump Up and Jam improv show!

The show will run monthly, providing improvisers of all experience levels with a regular opportunity to perform. 

In Jump Up and Jam, anything can happen and improvisers jump on stage when their names are randomly called. 

  • Where: Doors at 7 p.m., show at 7:30 p.m., Friday, March 4th

If you love good music, games and delicious food hit up Browns Crafthouse Vic West this weekend for all three!

Every Saturday night, test your music knowledge with Music Bingo. There are prizes for first, second and third place!

Enjoy a girls day at the Victoria Women’s Expo

The Victoria Women’s Expo is back for its annual two-day event!

Attendees will have the chance to stay up to date with today’s trends, up to date products and services by checking out the event’s over 100 exhibitors.

See a comedy show at Hecklers 

After being closed for nearly two years, Hecklers is back to fulfill your comedy needs. Every Saturday night, enjoy a comedian followed by Comedy Here Often?’s The Late show.

Attend a rally in support of Ukraine

The local Ukrainian Canadian Congress (UCC) branch is gearing up to host another rally this weekend, together with the UVic Ukrainian Students’ Society and Victoria Ukrainian Cultural Centre.

This time, organizers are asking those wanting to take part to line Douglas Street outside the Ukrainian Cultural Centre and participants are encouraged to bring flags and signs.

  • When: Sunday, March 6th, starting at 12:30 p.m.
  • Where: Outside the Ukrainian Cultural Centre on Douglas Street, 3277 Douglas Street

Check out Vancouver Island’s largest wedding expo

This weekend, attend Modern Wedding 2022,  the largest wedding and event showcase of it’s kind on Vancouver Island.

Visit the exhibition to enjoy tasting booths, swag bags, contests and giveaways!

Visit the Community Fridge’s Free Food Truck

This Sunday, the Community Fridge will be hosting a Free Food Truck, with food, music and more!

Come down and meet the fridge team and enjoy chicken, lentils, pita, rice, falafel and okra!

There will be approximately 200 meals to distribute.

Try Starbucks’ new Iced Toasted Vanilla Oatmilk Shaken Espresso

Although the official launch of spring is still a few weeks away, Starbucks is taking things into their own hands, kicking off the season early as they announce the launch of a brand new iced drink. 

The new Iced Toasted Vanilla Oatmilk Shaken Espresso is the latest addition to Starbucks’ popular line of non-dairy beverage options.

Made with the coffee chain’s lightest espresso roast, their Blonde espresso, the drink is smooth and sweet, with hints of caramelized vanilla.

Once the espresso and vanilla combine, the drink is shaken together and topped with oat milk.
