Nanaimo RCMP are looking to reunite a gift bag filled with children’s toys with its rightful owner after it was left in a local parking lot.

At approximately 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 26th a Paw Patrol gift bag containing several small wrapped gifts was turned into the Nanaimo RCMP detachment. One was partially torn and revealed a child’s toy inside.

The person who found the bag said it had been left in the parking lot of the Beban Park Recreation Center.

“The gifts were most likely intended for a child’s birthday party and for unknown reasons, it ended up being left in the parking lot,” said Constable Gary O’Brien of the Nanaimo RCMP.

“The bag and contents were in good shape so they most likely had only been in the parking lot for a short period of time.”

If you have information on the gift bag, you are asked to call the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at (250) 754 2345.
