Update: Nanaimo RCMP have confirmed Michelle Van Der Kemp has been located and is safe.

Nanaimo RCMP are asking the public’s help in locating missing 55-year-old Michelle Van Der Kemp.
According to reports, Van Der Kemp missed an urgent medical appointment on March 2nd at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital. She has not been seen or heard from since.
Van Der Kemp was previously reported missing mid-February when she failed to show up for another scheduled appointment. Several days later, she was located.
According to officers, her caregivers continue to support her through her struggles.
She is described as Caucasian, standing 5’3” tall with a thin build and long brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information on Van Der Kemp’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Nanaimo RCMP at (250) 754-2345.
