Nanaimo RCMP seek public’s assistance in locating missing 15-year-old girl

Nanaimo RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 15-year-old girl. 

Ava Brown was last seen in the late afternoon of Friday, March 4th walking onto the Horseshoe Bay Ferry Terminal. 

According to officers, it is believed Brown took the ferry to Nanaimo but upon arrival, may have departed the passenger drop off area with an unknown person. 

Investigators underwent an extensive search for her, including reviewing video surveillance at the Departure Bay Ferry terminal, but it has not yet provided any information. 

Brown is described as Caucasian, standing 5’6” and weighing approximately 115 pounds. She has black hair with auburn roots and brown eyes. 

She was last seen wearing a cream coloured beige hoodie, Nike Air Force 1 sneakers and her hair was tied up in a bun.
