Sunshine and blossoms—the perfect weekend combo.
If you’ve been craving some Vitamin D, then you’re in luck as the latest weather forecast is showing nothing but sunshine this weekend.
According to Environment Canada, Victoria see will see six straight days of sunshine.
While sun is in the forecast for Thursday, the skies will fully clear up for the weekend on Friday while next week call for a mix of sun and clouds, and Thursday’s forecast calls for mainly sunny skies.
Not to mention, daytime temperatures will see of the warmest weather Victoria has seen in weeks with daytime highs climbing to 12°C.
And with warmer weather and sunshine comes the perfect recipe for cherry blossoms to bloom.
The trees that line the city streets have begun to come alive with the beautiful pink flowers that are a sure sign the new season is on its way, and Victoria Buzz has compiled a list of some of our own favourite spots to catch the blooms in and around town.
The blooms usually only stick around for the month of March—and some may not even be out yet—but don’t hesitate in getting out to see all of the bountiful blossoms in person!
