A popular Langford pizza joint is expanding to a brand new location, bringing its authentic Italian wood-fired pizza to Sidney!
900 Degrees Wood-Fired Pizza cooks up their authentic Neapolitan “thin crust” pizza, as well as a thicker-crust New York style pizza in their 900 degree Fahrenheit wood-fired oven heated exclusively by sustainably sourced wood.
The Langford favourite, which has been locally owned and operated since 2014, uses only organic dough, organic tomato sauce and local artisan and Italian ingredients in their pizzas.
They also even offer a gluten-free menu including hand-made gluten free pizza, made in house!
Now, 900 Degrees is opening their second location, taking over the space occupied by the recently closed Woodshed Pizza.
Woodshed was a staple on Beacon Avenue for over a decade and after the owners struggled with staffing issues during the pandemic, they decided to pass the baton, selling the location to the new owners.
Woodshed’s location closed quietly without any formal announcement to the public, but currently sports taped up windows where the restaurant’s entrance used to be.
