VicPD looks to identify suspect who spat on BC Transit driver last week

VicPD are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect who allegedly threatened and then spat on a BC Transit driver last week. 

At around 6:45 p.m., on Tuesday March 1st, a BC Transit driver stopped to pick up a passenger in the area of Fort and Ashgrove Streets. 

Upon entering the bus, the passenger immediately became confrontational with the driver and threatened to stab him. 

The suspect then moved around the plexiglass barrier, intended to separate the bus driver from passengers, and spat in the driver’s face before leaving the area. 

The suspect is described as a 25 to 35-year old Caucasian man with a medium build. At the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing a dark hat and dark jacket.
