North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP are asking for any witnesses of an assault that occurred on Sunday afternoon involving a group of youth and two men to come forward.
At approximately 2:30 p.m. on April 24th, RCMP received a report of an assault in the area of Beverly Street near Chesterfield Avenue.
As a result of the incident, one man sustained non-life threatening injuries requiring medical attention while the other man and one youth sustained minor injuries.
The individuals involved were not known to each other.
“Investigators are requesting the public’s assistance in the ongoing investigation,” said Constable Kristine Roesler of the North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP.
