It’s almost time for tea!

The Oak Bay Tea Party is returning this weekend, for its 60th annual family-friendly event.

From June 3rd to June 5th, attendees can enjoy all the delicious food, incredible entertainment and community fun while helping out a good cause.

The annual event is not only an exciting time for the community, it also helps service organizations, such as the Kiwanis and Lions, raise funds for their many community projects.

And there is a lot in store.

Shooting Star Amusements will be in attendance all weekend, bringing excitement to all thrill seekers in attendance.

On Saturday, the annual Tea Party Parade will kick off at 10:15 a.m. with The Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics at Windsor Park. The run will then proceed at 10:30 a.m., before winding through the streets of Oak Bay and ending at Willows Park.

There will also be plenty of food throughout the weekend, with the Esquimalt Lions providing a delicious pancake breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning.

In addition, Saanich Lions, formerly Royal Oak Lions, will also be providing corn on the cob throughout the weekend.

On Sunday, the annual bathtub race will take place, allowing spectators to see real bathtubs zoom along the water as well as an air show with skydivers!

It is sure to be an action packed weekend with tons of things to do, so we have compiled a list of the what, where and when to keep you up to date!
