There’s a Mother’s Day artisan market happening in downtown Victoria this weekend (CONTEST)

Calling all shop local lovers!

Whether you’re looking to spoil the mother figure in your life this weekend—or even just yourself!—this unique Mother’s Day Market experience has a little bit of something for everyone.

Created by the Market Collective, the Mother’s Day Market will feature 35 local makers, artists, and food producers at the Bay Centre on May 7th and May 8th.

You’ll have the chance to meet BC’s top makers, artists, food producers and shop their unique wares.

Local entrepreneurs and creators of the Victoria Market Collective, Cory Judge, Katrina Dwulit, and Vanessa Gaudet are hosting 40 talented artisans, and you’ll be able to support grassroots and Canadian artisans and makers—check out the list below of who’ll be there:

Want to make a day of this local shopping event? Pop by Earls Kitchen + Bar at the Bay Centre for Happy Hour Brunch, which runs from 10 a.m. until noon on Saturday and Sunday.

The Mother’s Day Market will take place on Saturday, May 7th, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, May 8th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at two locations within the Bay Centre, on level 2 next to the Market Collective and on the lower level next to centre court.

First hour free parking is available in the Bay Centre’s underground parkade on both days.
