Crafted Farmhouse Market
Are you ready for a weekend of handcrafted wares, homemade goodies and a list of local vendors that’s sure to impress?
Look no further than the Crafted Farmhouse Market—which is back and promises to be better than ever!
Held at the Mary Winspear Centre in beautiful Sidney by the sea, this event showcases the best of the best goods from local-makers in Victoria.
The fun kicks off on Friday, May 6th and runs into Saturday, May 7th—so you can have two days full of perusing.
- When: Friday, May 6th – 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday, May 7th – 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Mother’s Day Musical Garden Tour
Celebrate Mother’s Day, beautiful spring gardens, live music, and being together for the first time in two years.
This weekend, stroll through Victoria’s most beautiful spring gardens while enjoying music from students and faculty of the Victoria Conservatory of Music.
Two-day passes are $40 (plus service fees, depending on point of purchase) and include exclusive access to ten spectacular private gardens, one public garden treasure, and the plant sale!
- When: Saturday, May 7th , starts at 7 p.m. and Sunday, May 8th, starts at 2 p.m.

Super Smash Brothers Tournament/Expo
This event isn’t just for competitors. All ages, and all skill levels are encouraged to attend. They will have vendors and other things going on for spectators/competitors to do over the two days of this event. There will be games to compete in such as Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Super Smash Bros Melee and Guilty Gear Strive – with prizes to be won!

Westshore Craft Crawl Spring Market
Local vendors are set up at locations all over the West Shore. Plan a route by using the map once its posted and go out and shop some of our unique 55 local to the area.

Disney’s Beauty and the Beast
Step into the enchanted world of Broadway’s classic fairy tale, Disney’s Beauty And The Beast. Based on the Academy Award-winning animated feature, the stage version includes all of the wonderful songs written by Alan Menken and the late Howard Ashman, along with new songs by Mr. Menken and Tim Rice. The original Broadway production ran for over thirteen years and was nominated for nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical.

Family Sport & Recreation Festival
The return of the Family Sport and Recreation Festival at PISE is a free event this year and is expected to be even bigger and better, featuring popular activities for all of the family to experience.
This festival features over 30 activities for kids and families to try, including rock climbing, tennis, obstacle courses, adapted sports, golf and much more. They will also be celebrating the opening of the brand new field turf!

Love Someone: An Intimate Evening with Johnny Reid
Love Someone is Reid’s 11th studio album and was released on October 15th via Universal Music Canada. A return to his country roots, the album marks his most inspired collection of songs to date.
Complementing the album’s inherent intimacy, the tour will give fans a rare chance to hear Reid live in a highly up close and personal setting as opposed to the major market venues and colossal crowds he typically draws. The past ten years has seen Reid perform to over 1 million people; on this tour, fans can expect an uplifting evening of songs and storytelling with the chart-topping, singer-songwriter.

Celebrate Astronomy Day
The members of the Victoria Centre Royal Astronomical Society of Canada and the Friends and Science Venture, University of Victoria and others as they present amazing astronomical free activities for all ages.
There will be plenty of things happening including telescope show and tell, public lectures and much more.

Market Collective presents Mother’s Day at The Bay Centre
Calling all shop local lovers! Whether you’re looking to spoil the mother figure in your life this weekend—or even just yourself!—this unique Mother’s Day Market experience has a little bit of something for everyone.
Created by the Market Collective, the Mother’s Day Market will feature 35 local makers, artists, and food producers at the Bay Centre on May 7th and May 8th.
You’ll have the chance to meet BC’s top makers, artists, food producers and shop their unique wares.

Ross Bay Villa Plant Sale
The Villa’s great big plant sale returns. You will find a wide range of bedding plants including vegetables, annuals and perennials as well as herbs. Your garden fantasies will be fulfilled when you see some of the unusual offerings available.
All funds from this event are used for the ongoing conservation and preservation of the Ross Bay Villa Historic House Museum.

North Park Multicultural Festival
The North Park Multicultural Festival is a new initiative and a FREE quarterly family-friendly event where diverse communities gather and share culture through performances, arts, food, kids activities, and much more!

Séan McCann performance at Hermann’s Jazz Club

The lead singer of Great Big Sea will be preforming Sunday night at Hermann’s Jazz Club. He’s released five successful solo albums touching on a range of subjects from Canadian life and culture to spotlighting national hardships like the infamous 2016 wildfires that devastated Fort McMurray, Alberta, in which he partnered with the Canadian Red Cross.

Sidney Farmers Market Mother’s Day
Take mom to the Sidney Farmers Market outside at the Mary Winspear Centre. The market runs every Sunday, starting May 8th (Mother’s Day) to September 25th.

Mother’s Day Concert at Playfair Park
This Mother’s Day concert features the Reynolds High School Orchestra playing favourites against a backdrop of beautiful rhododendrons. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy the free open air concert.

Drag Sunday
Victoria’s most sought after weekly drag show. Hosted by the legendary Shelita Cox, with rotating headliners and appearances.
Drag Sunday is a entertainment and production company that specializes in hosting Drag shows on Sunday night at Paprazzi Nightclub, and providing a space to let queer performers on stage without boundaries
