Nanaimo RCMP and Nanaimo Search and Rescue (NSAR) are currently searching for a missing 64-year-old man last seen at his north Nanaimo residence on Wednesday.
Police say Gregory McKenzie was last seen at approximately 1:30 p.m. on June 1st.
Based on information provided by his family, police, NSAR and at one point an RCMP helicopter were focusing their search efforts in the area of Green Lake, located off Jenkins Road.
McKenzie is described as standing 5’9” tall, weighing 170 pounds with curly white hair and blue eyes.
At the time of his disappearance, he was believed to be wearing a blue sweatshirt, blue pants and a grey zip up hoodie.
