Sooke RCMP searching for missing man last seen in May (UPDATED)

UPDATE: In a Wednesday update, Sooke RCMP say Blaze Lupton has been located “safe and sound.”

Police in Sooke are seeking the public’s help in the search for a missing man who hasn’t been since in roughly a week.

Sooke RCMP say 30-year-old Blaze Lupton was last seen on Pacific Marine Road in Port Renfrew, near Lizard Lake, on Tuesday, May 31st.

Described as a Caucasian man standing at around 6’1″, Lupton has shoulder-length red hair and a long red beard.

At the time of his disappearance, he wearing a blue jean jacket, purple hoodie, beige cargo shorts overtop purple striped pajama pants, black boots, and a “Bubba Gump Shrimp” hat.

According to police, Lupton may have been spotted making his way to Sombrio Beach last Friday, June 3rd, pulling a blue and white cooler behind him.
