Central Saanich Police have release photos of a vehicle they say is connected to a high school assault last month.

On June 10th, police were dispatched to Stelly’s Secondary School at around 11:20 a.m., after a student was attacked in the school’s parking lot by several people wearing face coverings.

On Monday, police released photos of the black BMW sedan in hopes of furthering the investigation.

The attackers used weapons, including a knife and mallet. The student was hospitalized then later released to recover at home.

It is not known if the suspects are connected to the school, however, the attack is believed to be targeted.

Anyone with information or can identify the vehicle is asked to call Central Saanich police at 250-652-4441.

Dashcam or other video footage can be uploaded to the department’s online evidence submission portal.
