Well-known Jackass star Steve-O coming to Victoria in October

Well-known Jackass star Steve-O is returning to Victoria this October—his first time back on Vancouver Island since 2014.

Stephen Gilchrist Glover, known professionally as Steve-O, is an American entertainer, television personality, stunt performer and stand-up comedian.

Steve-O will take the stage at Victoria’s Royal Theatre on Sunday, October 23rd, followed by Nanaimo’s Port Theatre on Monday, October 24th—bringing his Bucket List Tour, a mixture of comedy, stunts, and stories.

The show will feature the master of self-inflicted wounds which came to fame on the MTV program known for its wickedly funny pranks and violent acts of daring — and/or stupidity.

“Every idea on Steve-O’s Bucket List was so ill-advised, he never expected to go through with any of them. Until it was time to prepare for this tour. Not only are the stunts more ridiculous than what you already know Steve-O for, he did them all, and made a highly XXX-rated, multimedia comedy show out of them,” reads the description of the event on Victoria’s Royal Theatre.

Steve-O, alongside Johnny Knoxville, was part of the franchise’s fourth trip to the big screen, “Jackass Forever,” which has earned around $80 million worldwide since debuting in February.

The show is not for kids, or for the faint of heart. The shows have been assigned a XXX rating, and both Victoria’s Royal Theatre and Nanaimo’s Port Theatre will restrict the audience to those 19 and older.

In addition to his work on “Jackass,” Steve-O has made appearances in a number of movies, music videos and TV series including principal parts in “Dr. Steve-O” and “Wildboyz.”

Tickets go on sale Friday, July 8th at 10 a.m., and tickets start at $54.
