A silver sedan ignited into a blaze in a parking lot just off Gorge Road and Harriet Road.
Around 12:20 p.m. on Friday afternoon a black plume of smoke was visible throughout Saanich, Victoria and Esquimalt due to the vehicle fire.
The car was parked in an almost empty parking lot next to a construction site with workers nearby.Â
At this time it is believed that no one was hurt in the blaze.Â
