Two suspects are wanted for crashing their pickup truck into the front of a liquor store and stealing their ATM.

Around 3:40 a.m. on Friday, November 11th, the suspects backed a truck up into the storefront of a Liquor Plus  located at 508 Eighth Street in Nanaimo.

Police say they arrived to find the door to the store had been smashed. When video surveillance was obtained by police, it clearly showed a truck backing up into the store three times before smashing the entrance.

Suspects can then be seen stealing an ATM, putting it into the back of the truck and driving away westbound down Eighth Street.

The suspects’ vehicle is a mid-2000’s burgundy Ford F-350 that sustained damage in the incident to its rear quarter panel.

Police say the two suspects appear to be Caucasian men.

The first suspect was wearing a black hoodie and dark jeans and the second suspect was wearing a bright blue hoodie, a blue ball cap and black track pants with a white stripe.

According to police, the license plate on the vehicle was reported as being stolen and the ATM was found on Saturday, November 12th, emptied of its contents.

If anyone has information on this incident, contact the Nanaimo RCMP at (250) 754-2345.
