Nanaimo RCMP are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing 82-year-old woman.
Elizabeth Gilchrist, was reported missing by her daughter this morning.
Gilchrist’s daughter arrived at her mother’s home in the Stephenson Point area before 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 13th.
She found the front door of her mother’s home open with Gilchrist nowhere to be seen.
There are concerns for Gilchrist’s health as she suffers from significant medical issues.
Given her age and the cold weather, there are serious concerns for her current safety and well-being, police said.
Gilchrist is described as a Caucasian woman, standing 5’4” tall4, with a slim build and platinum colored hair.
