VicPD seized over $50,000 in cash, multiple weapons and dangerous drugs off the streets of Victoria during a raid last month. 

On December 20th, VicPD’s Community Services Division officers obtained a warrant to search a residence in the 800-block of Johnson Street in a multi-unit residence. 

The search warrant was executed with the assistance of the Greater Victoria Emergency Response Team (GVERT).  

Police say that during the seizure, they found two air-soft pistols, two kilograms of what is believed to be methamphetamine, fentanyl and cocaine and over $50,000 in cash.

According to VicPD, a man and a woman were arrested during the search and have since been released pending further investigation.

Investigators say they will be recommending charges related to firearms and drug trafficking for both suspects.
