Words do pay!
A Duncan man is planning a trip to Maui after winning $50,000 playing BCLC’s Super Crossword Scratch & Win game.
Phreddy Niven was off to grab a coffee when he decided to purchase a ticket while out and about and because of that decision he will soon be jetting off on a trip after discovering he won the top prize.
“I was at home when I found out I won,” Niven recalled. “The first thing that crossed my mind was that I didn’t do it right! I thought I better check it again.”
The Duncan resident purchased his ticket from the Save-On-Foods on Trans Canada Highway in Duncan and is still in disbelief of his win.
He looks forward to his upcoming Hawaiian vacation.
