(Nanaimo RCMP)

Nanaimo RCMP are asking for help from the public in finding a missing 37-year-old woman who hasn’t had contact with her family since November 22nd of last year.

Victoria Simpson’s family told investigators that before November, she would normally send a daily or weekly check-in text to let them know she is okay.

According to her family, Simpson hasn’t checked-in since November 22nd and given that she has had no other forms of communication with her family, they are concerned for her safety and well-being.

Police say that Simpson has no fixed address and has lived a transient lifestyle for five years.

RCMP believe she is within the Nanaimo area because on December 22nd, police officers had contact with her in north Nanaimo.

Police describe her as a Caucasian woman, standing 5’ tall, with a slim build and long black hair. Of note, she has tattoos on her feet and on her right index finger.

Police ask that anyone who has information on the whereabouts of Victoria Simpson, contact Nanaimo RCMP at (250) 754-2345.
