The results are in!

Habitat for Humanity’s annual gingerbread showcase came to a close earlier this week after raising a whopping $73,767.65 over the holidays.

Earnings from this year’s showcase will go toward supporting families in need of a safe, decent place to live.

“We are delighted with the results of this year’s Gingerbread Showcase. Thank you to all of our bakers, supporters, and volunteers for their ongoing support,” said Scott Dutchak, CEO of Habitat for Humanity Victoria.

“Their dedication is vital to the success of our beloved Gingerbread Showcase,” added Dutchak.  Featuring 24 detailed sculptures, this year’s sculpting challenge asked bakers to get creative with a theme of magic in mind.

With over 10,000 votes tallied, the winner of the 2022 competition went to Jesika Edison, taking home the coveted People’s Choice Award for her creation, Christmas Magic at Hogwarts Hall.
