Vehicle of a missing 30-year-old Nanaimo woman found without plates

Nanaimo RCMP are asking for help in locating a missing 30-year-old woman whose family are concerned for her well-being.

Samantha Evans was last heard from by her family members on January 11th. Her family contacted RCMP last Wednesday, on January 18th to file a missing person’s report. .

Police say Evans has no fixed address and has recently been dealing with some “significant personal issues.” It is because of this that her family and support network are concerned for her safety and well-being.

Nanaimo RCMP describe Evans as a Caucasian woman, standing 5’7” tall, weighing approximately 170 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Evans may or may not be wearing a noticeable piercing located just below her lower lip. 

According to police, Evans has been associated with a red 2004 Monte Carlo in the past, but officers recently found the vehicle parked in south Nanaimo with no plates attached. 

Police ask that anyone who has information on the whereabouts of Samantha Evans, call Nanaimo RCMP at (250) 754-2345.
