Snow has weaseled its way back into the forecast for Greater Victoria and regions across Vancouver Island once again this week.
As strong winds and cold temperatures roll in and bring with them precipitation, road conditions can worsen rapidly. A special weather statement was issued on the morning of Wednesday, February 22nd that calls for flurries in and around the capital region.
As of Wednesday afternoon, snow has already begun to fall throughout Vancouver Island.
Cumulatively, Vancouver Islanders may soon be dealing with five to 10 cm of snow by Thursday morning, according to Environment Canada.
DriveBC has webcams strategically placed along all major highways to monitor road conditions in times like these.
