Start your engines: Northwest Deuce Days announces its return date to Victoria

Share

Car lovers should mark this date in their calendars!

Northwest Deuce Days (NWDD) announced it will be returning to Greater Victoria after a strong showing in 2022.

Attracting more than 1,000 snazzy vehicles once every three years, the variety show features a range of activities around the region, including the popular Sunday Spectator Show around the BC Provincial Legislature.

Set to return to the island from July 17th to 20th, 2025 will mark the second time the event has been organized under Destination Greater Victoria (DGV).

“Northwest Deuce Days is a favourite event within the classic car community, with an amazing group of dedicated volunteers from across many different local car clubs. Their continued passion, and the passion of our local spectators, makes for another highly anticipated experience by those far and wide,” said Jay Donovan, Northwest Deuce Days event organizer.

After assessing the economic benefit of the 2022 event Destination Greater Victoria says the four-day event generated an estimated $2.5M in economic impact.

The model considers all in-market spending associated with the event.

In 2022, the event transitioned in ownership to Destination Greater Victoria from founder Al Clark, who is well-known and respected in the classic car community. The transition occurred when the popular classic car show was almost cancelled citing multiple reasons, including the scope of work required to put on the show had grown too large and too expensive for him to host.
