Two Lower Mainland drug dealers caught on Vancouver Island will face charges

Two Lower Mainland residents are facing multiple charges following a drug trafficking case on Vancouver Island from November 16th, 2022.

The charges against both men were approved on February 13th.

According to Campbell River RCMP, Parmvir Dhaliwal was charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl and one count of obstructing police.

The second individual, Gurvinder Deo, was charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl and one count of obstructing a police officer.

Police allege that Dhaliwal and Deo were apprehended by officers on November 16th of last year after they were witnessed dealing in Campbell River.

Subsequent to arrest, police located cocaine and fentanyl packaged for street sale.

Police also say Dhaliwal was subject to multiple arrest warranted out of the Lower Mainland.

A trial date has yet to be set for the offences of November 16th, 2022.
