One of the Royals’ most highly-anticipated games of the season is happening this weekend, and tickets are still available!
The Victoria Royals will be hosting their BC Division rivals this Friday, February 10th, as they welcome the Vancouver Giants to town for the first half of a rare home and home series.
Victoria will be looking to get back in the win column, and the Giants are an excellent opponent to right the ship against. Vancouver comes to town with just 3 wins in their past 10 games, sitting 7th in the Western Conference.
The Royals, in 9th place with 33 points, can use every point possible as they try to catch Kelowna (37 points) for 8th place and that all important final playoff position.
Help the battle against breast cancer with Pink in the Rink
The Royals invite you to join them for their annual Pink in the Rink game, one of the most highly attended nights that tackles head on the challenges of breast cancer.
Though every point is crucial as the race to the playoffs nears its end, this game has a bit more on the line.
Hockey can do much more than just entertain – it brings people together, creates friendships, and can teach a child the rewards of hard work and perseverance.
It can show kids how to work as a team, receive and apply feedback, and contribute to the community with fundraisers.
And this Friday, it will bring a few thousand people together over our favourite Canadian past time, uniting everyone in the battle to beat cancer. Cancer touches everyone.
The Victoria Royals will be donating $1 to the BC Cancer Foundation for every ticket sold for Friday’s game. They encourage you and local business leaders to put your heads together to help hit their community goal of raising $10,000 for breast cancer research.
Your Victoria Royals will also be wearing their specially designed Pink in the Rink jerseys with – you guessed it – pink featuring as an accent colour throughout the jersey.

Since 2009, approximately $350,000 has been raised through this fundraising game.
