West Shore RCMP have released a photo of a suspect they say caused thousands of dollars in damage to a home surveillance camera near Taylor Beach last week.

According to police, the incident occurred at around 5 p.m. on Tuesday, February 14th, at the rear of a property near the 500 block of Swanwick Road in Metchosin.

The property backs on to Taylor Beach and video surveillance captured a man throwing rocks at the property, ultimately striking the surveillance camera, causing thousands of dollars worth of damage.

Police describe the suspect as having light coloured skin with a goatee. It is believed he is between the ages of 25 and 35 years old.

At the time, he was wearing blue jeans, a black jacket, black toque and black shoes.
