Pastel Blank and Babe Corner

Art-rock and funk join hands in a marriage of stutter and groove, officiated by Pastel Blank. Formed in 2019, the Victoria-based project is led by main songwriter Angus Watt.

Pulling influence from the jerky rhythms and genre-blending curiosity of Talking Heads as well as the interlocking guitar-work of Canadian post-punk luminaries Women, the music of Pastel Blank cloaks experimentation in pop-minded song structure.

  • Where: Upstairs Cabaret, 15 Bastion Square
  • When: Friday, March 24th, 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Delusion: Drag Show & Dance Party

Dare to dream at ‘Delusion’, the ultimate club experience that will transport you to a world of infinite possibilities. Celebrating our girl Coco Klein’s big move to L.A. This will be her last show in Victoria before the big adventure.

Find yourself in a night of pure enchantment and self-expression, surrounded by mesmerizing performance artists, DJ sets, artisan vendors and an extremely open-minded community.

  • Where: Victoria Event Centre, 1415 Broad Street
  • When: Friday, March 24th, 10:30 p.m.

BARNYARD Natural Wine Festival

In working with a select group of BC wineries and international import agencies, Barnyard Natural Wine Festival will bring together the largest collection of natural and low-intervention wines that Vancouver Island, and perhaps even Western Canada, has ever seen at a single event.

The overall philosophy of this event is to introduce our guests to wines that, for the most part, are not strongly represented in most restaurants and liquor stores.

This event will take place at the Lion’s Den Restaurant at the Save-on-Foods Memorial Centre. Guests are advised to enter through Gate 6.

  • Where: Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre, 1925 Blanshard Street
  • When: Friday, March 24th, 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
