Check those tickets, Vancouver Islanders!

Three weeks has past and a winning $55-million Lotto Max ticket purchased in North Saanich remains unclaimed.

According to BCLC, someone on the Saanich Peninsula is $55-million richer after matching 7 of 7 numbers on Lotto Max’s draw on the February 28th draw.

The main numbers are: 01, 03, 08, 24, 35, 42, 43 and the bonus number is 18.

The Extra numbers are 18, 75, 90 and 94.

According to BCLC, the ticket was purchased at a store in the North Saanich area and is the largest winning ticket on Vancouver Island. It’s also the first major winner of 2023.

There were no other winners for the main jackpot so someone is taking home a ton of cash!

And while the winner has has time to reveal themselves—lottery rules allow all prize winners 52 weeks to claim their cash—though their millions could accrue a lot of money in interest over the course of a year.

Worst case scenario, any unclaimed prize money for national draws, including Lotto Max and Lotto 6/49, goes back into the prize pool.
