Pair of orcas spotted near Victoria’s Ogden Point Wednesday (VIDEO)

In case you missed it, a  couple of killer whales were spotted near Victoria’s Inner Harbour Wednesday, delighting onlookers as they breached the waters near the shore.

The pair of orcas passed by Ogden Point breakwater around 8:30 a.m. and while these magnificent creatures are a common sight in the Vancouver Island waters, it’s always a treat to see them swim near the harbour.

While their visit to the area was short, anyone out for a walk that morning were able to capture some amazing photos and footage as the pair swam feet away from the pier.
