It doesn’t get much better than this!

With a stellar lineup of hit artists, local performers, and up-and-coming Canadian artists, Phillips Backyard Festival returns by popular demand after a successful 2022.

This year, there will be two separate weekends of festival fun—Tilt! In July, and Reverb in August.

The Tilt! music festival will be held at the Phillips Backyard from Friday, July 7th to Sunday, July 9th. Lord Huron is slated to kick off the series along with Anderson Paak and the Bahamas.

After switching his stage name from Anderson Paak to DJ Pee.Wee, the R&B artist will perform as his artistic alter ego, DJ Pee.Wee. With his live horn and drum sets, the all-vinyl set will mark the first time he has performed in Canada.

Continuing the event’s commitment to highlighting diverse international talent alongside Canadian acts Americana troubadour Neal Francis and renowned LA-based violinist and hip-hop vocalist Sudan Archives.

The festival will also bring fan favourites Snotty Nose Rez Kids, Montreal-based queer indie pop act Fleece and local emerging artists Pastel Blank and Nicky Mackenzie – among many others – to the stage.

The second series, dubbed Reverb, will feature local favourite, Jesse Roper as a headliner as well as Peach Pit and Fleet Foxes, and will take place August 11th to August 13th.

Tickets for these weekend-long events can be purchased online as single-day tickets or as a weekend pass, and will be available for purchase at 10 a.m. on Wednesday March 29th.
