There’s a FREE Inclusive Employment Resource Fair happening in Langford next week—and you’re invited!

Hosted by WorkBC Centre Westshore, the job fair will take place on Wednesday, March 22nd from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at their Westshore Centre.

You’ll have the opportunity to connect with employers who have made a commitment to inclusive hiring, and meet local organizations that provide free resources to support individuals with diverse abilities.

There will be a wide range of employers in attendance, offering positions at organizations such as Walmart Langford, Island Health, Sooke School District 62, Canadian Armed Forces Naval Reserve, and more!

Additionally, there will be resources available for diverse workers from WorkBC Assistive Technology Services and WorkLink Employment Society.

Hear from WorkBC Centre Westshore, and learn about employment services including the Customized Employment Program, which works with job seekers and employers to create a personalized job that is specific to the potential employee’s skills and abilities.

You can also discover how to showcase your diverse strengths and prepare yourself for an
interview.

Registration is recommended, and can be done online—there will be limited drop-in space available in an effort to remain sensory-friendly.

Attendees can also register for an entry to win an Amazon Fire Tablet and will be sent a Diverse Job Seeker Career Fair guide!

The venue is wheelchair accessible, and this is a sensory-friendly event.
