Victoria Royals last game of the season is this Saturday and it’s Fan Appreciation Night

Share

The Victoria Royals fought hard all season long and despite a rocky start to the season, they picked themselves up and pulled off some incredible victories.

This Saturday is their very last game of the season and as such they’ve decided to dedicate this one to the fans who cheered them on regardless of whether they won or lost.

They will face off at 6:05 p.m. on Saturday, March 25th against the Everett Silvertips who they have yet to beat so far this season.

The first game against the ‘Tips was back in October as their fourth game of the season and they lost 4-0. The next time the two teams met on the rink was in late February and the Royals were bested once again, this time 5-2 for Everett.

Now the Royals have a game on Friday and Saturday, one in Everett and then their official last game of the season back on home ice.

Some special festivities will be going down at Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre on Saturday to celebrate the Fan Appreciation Night, including $10 tickets, a beer garden, prizes to be given away and the Victoria HarbourCats will be around too as the Royals pass the seasonal baton to the baseball team.

The Victoria Royals may not have made the playoffs for the past two-seasons, a first for the WHL club, but they will be back this autumn with a vengeance and a determination to win.
