A 6.0 magnitude quake struck Thursday morning just off the coast of Vancouver Island.
It was firs being reported as a 6.2 tremor but has since been downgraded.

The earthquake struck at 8:54 a.m. in a location about 211 km south west of Port McNeill at a depth of 11 km, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
There is no threat of tsunami, and no damage is expected to have been caused by these earthquakes.
