The perfect Airbnb investment property is up for grabs in downtown Victoria.
The suite, dubbed ‘The One with the Purple Apartment’, is a Friends themed Airbnb launched in 2022. The interior and decor will have any 90s millennial feeling downright nostalgic.
On April 1st, the unit was listed for sale for $650,000.
“The unit is fully furnished with decorations and memorabilia inspired by the iconic TV show, and offers a comfortable bedroom, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a cozy living area,” reads the listing.
The condo is 350 square feet and is painted the signature Friends purple. It’s stocked up with signature memorabilia such as a Central Perk sign, umbrellas and even a “Pivot!” painting hanging on one of the walls.
The condo’s amenities feature a loft bedroom, a pull out couch, high ceilings, large windows and a skylight.
The ‘Friends’ suite is not the first themed Airbnb in Victoria. In 2020, a Harry Potter ‘Common Room’ rental launched in the city’s downtown area.
It’s located at 562 Yates Street, right above Adventure Clothing and across the street from Lucky Bar. Those who stay in the suite, need only walk a stone’s-throw away from their temporary home to find some of Victoria’s best nightlife destinations and restaurants.
The suite will be sold as-is with all Friends-themed memorabilia included and is meant to be used as an investment property, not as a home.
Since the ‘Friends’ suite launched, it fetched its owners anywhere from $175 to $265 per night, depending on whether it was a weekday or a weekend.
