A new and unique pop-up cafe is coming to Sidney that is good for the earth and for your wallet!
On Saturday, April 29th, the Repair Cafe have teamed up with the North Saanich Library Teen Advisory Group to offer a repair cafe for those in need of essential fixes.
Guests are invited to bring broken or damaged items to the event and volunteers will help fix them.
There will be a variety of fixers on hand that can help with things like: bicycles, clothing, jewelry, small appliances, sharpening, furniture and computers.
The goal of this initiative is to keep items out of the landfills while sharing knowledge of repairing skills.
Items such as printer cartridges, felt pens, unwanted prescription eyeglasses, disposable masks and gloves are also welcomed to the event so each can be reused or recycled.
